Seminar: How to successfully write a scientific paper?

ELSEVIER  has  prepared two webinar sessions (descriptions are below) to better accommodate the large volume of information I wanted to convey to the researchers.

Seminar One: How to successfully write a scientific paper? – July 30th, 11:00 CEST

During this webinar the attendees will learn how to successfully write a good quality research paper, which will resonate well with the scientific community and will allow them to gain recognition. A summary of the best practices in writing will be presented and these are based on experience of researchers, editors and readers.

Seminar Two: Good practices in scholarly publishing – August 14th, 11:00 CEST

This webinar is addressed to everyone interested in the intricacies of scholarly publishing. During this session the attendees will learn about the importance of academic publishing and maintaining its high quality through proper peer-review. Additionally, information on how to recognize good journals will be provided. The training will be concluded by an overview of ethics in publishing, which ought to be respected by all authors, editors and reviewers.

Innovative Enterprise Week Bucharest 2019

Dear FET Enthusiast,

We from Future and Emerging Technologies (FET) are proud to invite you to our first EIC Pathfinder event.

The EIC Pathfinder is the successor of FET Open and FET Proactive, firmly embedded in the newly established European Innovation Council (EIC).

Our mission remains the same: to explore the radically new technologies that will shape Europe’s future.

“Imagine the Technologies of the Future” showcases some of the amazing results that FET projects have achieved over the years.

It is also the occasion to debate with fellow scientists, researchers and innovators how to shape the new EIC Pathfinder programme for the next decade.

 Join us on 19 June in Bucharest.

The event is co-organised by the European Commission and the Romanian Presidency of the EU, as part of the Innovative Enterprise Week (19-21 of June 2019).

[email protected] Know-how exchange forum on 22-23 May 2019 in Bratislava

Bratislava, Vienna[email protected] project’s mission is to improve framework conditions for research infrastructures (RIs) and innovation in the Danube macro-region. One key objective of the project is to contribute to the efforts for establishing new RIs and upgrading the existing ones by strengthening both policy-making and managerial capacities in the Danube macro-region.

Throughout the last year the [email protected] project has offered support to interested research infrastructures in Danube region concerned with management challenges during their regular operations or specific phases of their establishment. The [email protected] Know-how exchange forum provides an excellent venue for stakeholders (including final recipients of support such as involved research entities and infrastructures) to reflect on the current challenges of the initiatives and the proposed recommendations. In addition, a reflection of the process itself should reveal the potential of similar mutual support actions in the Danube macro-region, and how far similar actions should be included in a joint action plan. In order to provide ground for reflection, the organisers have invited currently developing RIs and already successful initiatives to allow a wider sharing of experiences.
